Massage Therapist

Position requirements:
- Must be qualified to BTEC / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (International qualifications welcome)
- Knowledge of Swedish, or Deep Tissue, or Sports Massage techniques
- Willingness to learn more advanced techniques from our TMC Certified training programme, which is specifically designed to protect your joints from excessive pressures and extend your working career
- Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with customers, front desk team and management
- Able to work a minimum of 12 hours per week
- Understand and believe in the physical and lifestyle benefits of high-quality, good value massage that fits in with our customersâ lives
- Perform consecutive 50-minute to 80-minute quality massage therapy sessions (regular breaks are mandatory)
- Promote our internal upgrades of hot stones, scalp massage, aromatherapy or âfantastic foot treatmentâ (all will be trained)
- Conduct specific massage sessions based on customerâs individual needs
- Promote the health and wellness benefits to customer`s receiving massage therapy on a regular basis
- Create excellent experience for members/customers through friendly and helpful attitude
- Provide excellent massage therapy to support the retention of TMC Members, who pay for a monthly membership (one massage a month)
- Maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Must be able to speak a standard of English that enables you to communicate professionally with our customers

Weâre looking for an experienced and passionate MSK Physiotherapist to join our growing team and work alongside our professional massage therapists. Together, youâll help customers with injury recovery, pain management, movement, and rehabilitation; elevating how people experience musculoskeletal care.
As a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, youâll play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of MSK conditions. Youâll support customers from their first session through long–term recovery and prevention, combining manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education within a supportive, wellness–focused environment.
Duties:
Assessment & Diagnosis
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to identify musculoskeletal conditions and disorders.
- Formulate accurate clinical diagnoses and determine effective treatment strategies.
Treatment Planning & Delivery
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Deliver hands-on therapy, soft tissue techniques, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation programs.
Education & Empowerment
- Provide clear, compassionate explanations of conditions and treatment options.
- Promote self-management and long-term lifestyle strategies that enhance recovery and resilience.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with massage therapists, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive, multidisciplinary care.
- Help embed physiotherapy as part of TMCâs holistic wellness model.
Professional Growth & Service Development
- Participate in mentoring and supervision of junior staff or students (where applicable).
- Contribute to service development, audits, and innovation to enhance our MSK offering.
Skills
- Minimum 2 yearsâ post–graduate experience in MSK physiotherapy.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and manual therapy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Confidence in managing a varied caseload and adapting treatment plans.
- Commitment to professionalism, clinical governance, and high–quality care.

- Providing support to the Centre Manager, to both establish the operational processes and learn The Massage Company ethos and culture. The ongoing management of the team of Membership Supervisors and Massage Therapists by the Centre Manager will be supported by this role
- Getting the word out that weâre open for new business, notably within the local corporate environment
